Transformers Movie Premiere - June 27, Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Film Festival will host the US Premiere of Transformers on June 27. Michael Bay's live-action Transformers movie will show at 8:15 PM local time at the National Theatre. Running time is listed as two hours.

Transformers release date advanced to July 3rd

The US release date of the new Transformers movie has been moved up a day to Tuesday, July 3rd. The live-action film debut of Transformers, directed by Michael Bay, is anxiously anticipated by fans, and a very enthusiastic reponse to the release trailer prompted Bay to ask fans how they felt about the movie opening a day earlier [Bay's blog entry]. On June 1st, Paramount confirmed the July 3rd release date for IGN, and on Monday, June 4th, the new release date was further confirmed as published along with all-new material on the updated Official Transformers Movie website.
